GIS design and development
Everything that is spatial data and maps: database, back end, front end, architecture and consulting.
Spatial registry and analysis systems
Our main profile is the design and development of GIS registry systems. Until now mostly for telecommunications and road management, which are exactly the fields where data quality and uptime matter most.
We cover the whole stack: data model, import and quality control, services, user interface and the engineering calculations in between.
Four layers, one design
- Data
Spatial database
PostgreSQL and PostGIS data models with constraints, topology rules, history and audit trails.
- Back end
Back end and engineering modules
Python services and APIs, plus geodetic and engineering calculations with GNU Gama, RTKLIB and others.
- Services
Map services
GeoServer, MapServer, MapProxy, Tile38 and vector tiles via Tippecanoe, published as OGC standards.
- Front end
Web map applications
OpenLayers, MapLibre GL JS and deck.gl interfaces that stay fast with millions of features.
Modular, scalable, automated
Our systems are modular and scalable, built with an agile method, and our DevOps processes are automated: containers, infrastructure as code, continuous integration and repeatable deployments.
That is also what makes high availability affordable: the same automation that deploys the system rebuilds it after a failure.
